You shouldn’t be here es el EP debut de Mayzena en Ediciones Éter.
Música inmersiva compuesta por grabaciones de campo crudas y procesadas, bucles de guitarra eléctrica y texturas fluidas interrumpidas, o a veces sostenidas, por melodías tímidas y persistentes.
Como muchas otras cosas, este EP nació durante el primer confinamiento y fue creado en los últimos dos años por el dúo de ambient y noise con sede en Italia y formado por Michele Mandrelli y Gianluca Franchi, Mayzena
Aquel extraño periodo vino acompañado de una fuerte y nueva sensación que impregnó la forma en que vivíamos nuestros hogares: perdimos el «hogar» que teníamos antes y quedó impregnado de cosas y personas que antes no tenían acceso a él.
Cuatro piezas que se mueven entre la comodidad de nuestros hogares y lo que les amenaza, al intentar entrar por las puertas físicas o virtuales.

You shouldn’t be here is Mayzena’s debut EP on Ediciones Éter, and will be released on September 30 as the 60th release in our catalog.
Immersive music composed of raw and processed field recordings, lush electric guitar landscapes and fluid textures interrupted, or at times sustained, by shy and persistent melodies.
Like many things, this EP was born during the first confinement, and was created over the last two years by the electronic ambient-noise-oriented music duo based in Italy and formed by Michele Mandrelli and Gianluca Franchi.
That weird period was accompanied by a strong and new sensation that pervaded the way we used to live our homes: we lost the «home» we had before and it became permeated by things and people who previously did not have access to it.
Four pieces poised between the comfort of our homes and what threatens them, trying to enter through physical or virtual doors. This is what You shouldn’t be here is about.
